I accept no problems uploading photos to Facebook on the Gateway. I besides take no problems uploading photos to Shutterfly on the Toshiba with Windows seven as stated in my original post.
The trouble isn't limited to IE. I get the same error bulletin using IE, Chrome, or Firefox. The simply two things I hadn't tried were a make clean boot and disabling add-ons/extensions. After the clean kicking, I still couldn't upload fifty-fifty 1 photo to Shutterfly using Chrome. I and so disabled all of the add-ons/extensions in Chrome, simply nevertheless couldn't upload to Shutterfly.
I had also already contacted Shutterfly, and was told they were experiencing no problems with their service. I checked the Shutterfly forums and only a couple of people had posted nigh having uploading bug. Their Facebook folio had no reports of uploading trouble.
Based on all of the preceding, information technology appears to be a Windows viii problem. Any other suggestions?

If have not tried yet, let's cheque resetting Net Explorer to default and come across if that works.
On addition to that, I would propose you to run Microsoft Organization file checker tool SFC /SCANNOW to scan the system integration and fix organisation file corruption (if any).
The sfc /scannow (System File Checker) command scans all protected organisation files, and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
Apply the Organization File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted organisation files.
